Oum Dreyga (Amgala) H3-5 Breccia (S4, W0)
On October 16, 2003, Moroccan soldiers stationed in Western Sahara saw a meteorite falling on Gour Lafkah Mountains, south of Zbayra, about 21 km from Oum Dreyga. The meteorite fell near a 670 km long wall built in 1985, protected by antipersonnel mines, and guarded by soldiers. About 17 kg were recovered. These particular meteorites were obtained from a Moroccan soldier in Bojdour who has kept it in his possession since 2003. Most of these complete individuals were recovered before the rains and exhibit very little to no oxidation on their fresh fusion crusts. Some larger broken fragments will be cut and slices will be offered later. All specimens come with a Big Kahuna Meteorites Certificate of Authenticity / ID Card, scale cube is 1cm on each side and not included.
